The short version

This site collects as little as possible. There are no visitor accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies and no outside tracking companies. The site keeps simple, anonymous visit counts, which anyone can see on the Site Analytics page. The only personal information I ask for is your email address: when you join the newsletter, ask for your route by email, or buy something. I never sell, rent or share it, except with the services that process payments and deliver email for this site, and only so they can do that job. Two tools use AI: Distilled Essence and the natural voices in Human Self-Programming. When you use them, only the text needed for that request is sent to an AI service to create the result, never your name or email address.

Information you give me

When you join the newsletter or ask for your route by email, I store your email address, the date, and where you signed up. If you asked for your route, I also store the route settings you chose, so the email can show your route. Before I send you any newsletter or tips emails, I send one email asking you to confirm your address. If you don't confirm, you won't hear from me again, except for the route email you asked for.

Purchases

Payments are processed by Stripe. When you buy something, you enter your card or payment details on Stripe's secure checkout page, not on this website, and I never see or store your card number. Stripe may act as the seller of record for the sale, which means it also handles sales tax, receipts and payment support. Stripe handles your payment information under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).

From each purchase I keep the email address you gave at checkout, what you bought, the amount, the date, the order status (for example, paid or refunded), the Stripe reference number for the payment, and a private access link that unlocks your purchase. I use this to deliver what you bought, let you back in later, handle refunds, and keep the records the law requires.

AI-powered tools

Two tools use artificial intelligence (AI) to create what you ask for:

  • Distilled Essence: the topic you type, plus, in the Pro version, the focus and length you choose, a second topic to compare, or a follow-up question you ask.
  • Human Self-Programming natural voices: the text of each line to be spoken, and the voice you chose.

This text is sent through the AI service built into the platform that hosts this site, which passes it to an AI model provider to write the summary or make the audio. Your name, email address and payment details are never sent. Please don't type private information, such as health records, passwords or account numbers, into these tools.

I don't keep a record of what you type. To keep the tools fast, recent results may be held briefly in the server's memory and are cleared whenever the site restarts. To prevent abuse, the site counts how many requests come from each IP address in a day; that count is also held only in memory and is not linked to you or stored with your searches. AI results can be incomplete or wrong, so check anything important.

Emails I send

This site sends a few kinds of email:

  • Purchase emails: a receipt with your private access link, sent right after you buy.
  • Route emails: the route you asked for, sent once.
  • Confirmation emails: one email asking you to confirm your address before any newsletter or tips emails.
  • Newsletter and tips emails: only after you confirm. Every one has an unsubscribe link, and buyers stop getting sales emails.

These emails are sent through the email service built into the platform that hosts this site. It receives your address and the email's content only so it can deliver the message. If you unsubscribe, I stop sending newsletter and tips emails right away. Purchase emails about an order you made can still be sent.

Information stored in your browser

Some tools save things on your own device, in your browser's storage, so they're still there when you come back. This information stays in your browser and isn't sent to me:

  • Route planner: route profiles you save, and, if you bought the full planner, your private access link, so the planner stays unlocked on that device.
  • Optimal Routine Builder: the habits you tick off each day.
  • Distilled Essence: your recent searches and, in the Pro version, the summaries you save to your library.
  • Self-Health Management: the profile details you enter (name, age, sex and health factors), the dates you tick on your checklist and, in the Pro version, your health log readings, medicine list, visit questions and family profiles. None of it is sent to me or anyone else.
  • Human Self-Programming: saved sessions, your practice days, and copies of voice audio already made, so lines don't need to be made again.
  • Wars Tracker (Pro version): your watchlist and when you last visited, to show what changed.
  • Small visit flags: for example, whether you've already seen the opening animation during this visit, and a flag that stops a product page view from being counted twice in one visit.

To remove these, clear this site's data in your browser settings. If you use a shared computer, clearing it also removes the saved access link from that computer. Your purchase is still safe, and the link in your receipt email still works.

Information collected automatically

Like almost every website, the servers that host this site keep standard technical logs — such as your IP address, browser type, the page you requested and the time — for security and to keep the site running. These logs are not used to identify you or build a profile of you.

Anonymous site statistics

To understand which pages and recommendations are useful, the site counts page views, clicks on links to other websites, shares and newsletter sign-ups. For each it stores only the page, the website name of the link or referring site, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer) and the date. Your IP address, name and email address are never stored with these counts. Visitors are counted with a one-way code that changes every day, so no one can be recognised or followed from one day to the next. No cookies are used. The totals are public on the Site Analytics page.

Cookies

This site does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and visitors get no cookies from it. The only cookie the site sets is a sign-in cookie for the site owner's private dashboards, and it's never set for visitors. When you click a link to another website, or go to Stripe's checkout page, that site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate or referral links. If you click one and make a purchase or sign up, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Cards that use these links are clearly labelled.

Amazon and other partners, such as Abacus.AI, may use cookies on their own sites to record that you arrived from one of my links so the referral can be credited. I do not receive your name, payment details or what you bought.

Other websites

This site links to books, products, services and research hosted elsewhere. I am not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites, so please read their policies before sharing information with them.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their information.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing [email protected] or replying to any email from this site. I'll delete your email address and route settings when you ask. I keep purchase records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after you unsubscribe. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have more rights under local privacy laws, and I will honour those requests.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date at the top.
